Our story , since 1984

Dating back to the 80’s, Anne Sophie and her husband decided to settle down in the region after falling in love with the landscape and vineyards of Burgundy.

After a lucky encounter, they have the opportunity to buy a plot in the village of Rully.  Anne Sophie embarks then on this adventure, helped by her husband.

Felix, one of her sons, has joined the domaine in 2009, after travelling the world. As a passionate Oenologist and winemaker, he aims to create wines which embodies no only tradition but also terroir.

The domaine now spreads over 11 hectares over the appellations of Rully, Bouzeron in Côte Chalonnaise and Beaune in Côte de Beaune.

Our philosophy

In the domaine, we truly respect the grapes in order to embody the terroir and the vintage specificities. We have 7 different climates for which we adjust  our practices to fit our philosophy.

We do not want too much interventionism, we are looking for purity, elegancy and race. These are our three key words.

Regarding our way of winemaking, we consider that 80% comes from the vineyard. I like to compare it with cooking. To give you an example, if you have the greatest tomatoes from your garden, with just a slash of olive oil and a pinch of salt… it is heaven! But with unripe or rotten tomatoes, I wish you good luck in making a wonderful salad, even with the best accompaniment!

Our wines are refined and vibrant, often with a strong mineral edge and a pleasant and balanced palate.

Our wines are aged in barrels for 12 months and spend a second winter in steel stainless tank on their finest lees to gain in complexity.
